Music Stuff...at last!

So I've FINALLY got the 2 songs that I have in mind for mine and Shazna's film opening.
As of yet, Shazna hasn't heard the songs, but will probably hear them on my blog or in 1 of our media lessons after the christmas holidays.
The 2 songs I've got in mind for our film opening are Granite and Axle Grinder, both by Pendulum. I've put YouTube videos for both songs just below, so go and have a listen....

Axle Grinder - Pendulum

At the moment we don't know which one we will be using in our film opening, but once Shazna has listened to both songs either on here or in 1 of our lessons, we will probably discuss which one we think will go well with our film opening, and obviously which ever one we choose will be in our film opening.

Final Ideas...

So...in our past few media lessons, me and Shazna have finally come up with our last ideas for our title sequence. We originally planned to have our whole sequence filmed at Abbeywood Ruins where we would have the stalker following the girl, and at the end of the scene have him murder her. We're still having the stalker following the girl through Abbeywood Ruins, but now at the end of the scene, instead of the stalker attacking her, he will be seen walking away from her as she goes to meet her friend, letting the audience know that if this was a full length, the film would be based around the girl having more run ins with the stalker.

We're also having other scenes filmed at what would be the stalkers house, and by having a room covered in photos of the girl he is stalking, having a scene showing a number of knives all lined in a row on a table and a knife covered in blood being dropped onto a pile of pictures of the girl, we will be trying to get across the obsession that the stalker has with the girl, and the idea that he could possibly be planning to murder her.

The scenes at Abbeywood Ruins will be filmed in colour, and scenes at the stalkers house we will change to black & white like the scenes in the opening title sequence of Se7en.

The only thing we've got left to decide on now is the music we're going to use. Already have a few ideas, and hopefully we will be deciding on the music to use next week. (And Shazna, I've finally remembered to get those Pendulum songs!)
